Why weren't people wearing hats in 1967? | RetroFocus

A long-established hat store in Melbourne was struggling in 1967 as men’s fashion began to shift and hats were on the out.

The owner, Mr Jenkins, introduced an ABC reporter to the ‘swinging’ new styles being imported from London to encourage young men to wear more hats.
