Hack job from WSJ . . . it doesn't mention that the 2006 law required the USPS to fund employee pension obligations 75 years out . . . a requirement that had the express intent of destroying the USPS.
What private company funds pension obligations for employees not born nor hired yet . . . NONE. That is the meaning of this 2006 law's 75 year requirement.

This video is more useful than the current bureaucratic response to the years-long, bleak outlook for the USPS. Too often, America's congress provides a bi-partisan failure to adequately create solutions to issues like this in a timely fashion. The American people need better leadership and service from Congress.

This story is Propaganda for the de funding for the USPS. They tell you it can't survive but don't mention that the bill passed in 06 was designed to create this problem and that's what all of those out of context postmaster general quotes were really about. Pretty gross, WSJ.
