US Midwest struggles with rising COVID-19 cases while country vaccinated over 4 million people a day

The United States hit a record high on Saturday with over 4.5 million vaccines administered in one day, while COVID-19 cases in at least 32 states are rising due to unvaccinated young adults and variant cases.

The Midwest has been hard-hit with increasing numbers of the B.1.1.7 variant, as Michigan is now considered the nation’s epicentre of the disease.

While U.S. officials are blaming China for lack of transparency on the pandemic’s origins, many Americans are still ignoring CDC advice. Jennifer Johnson has more.

All vaccines do is cause viruses to mutate. The only reasonable and responsible reaction to a virus, to any virus, is to boost immune system and go on about your lives, there should have been no reaction, no vaccine, no shutdowns.
