So? Have they convinced you that more jobs equates to a better economy? All this means is corporate CEOs will make more money and stash it in the cayman islands while the employees starve.

Travis Ford August 5, 2022 - 8:21 PM

RIGHT….That is why everywhere I go there are help wanted signs. Restaurants closing bc they can't get help. Companies having to go to extreme lengths to recruit new employees.
Creating jobs is great only if people are taking them.

Neutral Barr August 5, 2022 - 8:21 PM

I'm glad to see this. Let's keep that wage up too. Would be cool if a cap on rent rise could be in place for a couple of years AFTER wage raise. Landlords go nuts on wage raise.

Mike Marks August 5, 2022 - 8:22 PM

Bull sht….the unemployment rolls are not a just balance sheet.

Bess August 5, 2022 - 8:24 PM

Thanks President Biden & thanks for gas price lowering for 51 straight days like you promised! 👍💕👍🇺🇸💕

Things are getting so bad that even the career unemployed folks have to get a job to cover expenses.🤣😂😂

Mike Glaspey August 5, 2022 - 8:30 PM

And Biden and Harris with Pelosi still manage to wreck the country with catastrophic legislation and policy.

KC Nwokoye August 5, 2022 - 8:42 PM

Thank you president Biden. People better thank their stars for a president like Joe Biden. Look at all his accomplishments. Wow! Now there's the party that I was looking for. Strong message for Democrats going into the mid-term. The inflation and gas prices are not his fault. It's a worldwide issue in Europe and around the world. After Covid the economy became overheated and coupled with the war that raised gas prices and that impacted food prices. Democrats have to explain that to their constituents clearly. Get loud and proud Democrats, you are doing awesome work. A party for women's right, climate change, equal marriage for all, health care for all, sensible gun reform and control, sensible immigration reform, infrastructure strong, strong American Chips industry to compete with China and Asia, energy independence, free and fair elections, veterans advocate and destroyers of terrorists both home and abroad. Now what's the alternative? Pro- White supremacists, killers of women and their rights to privacy, anti-equality, corruption and destroyers of democracy. You have a clear choice people, now go and show who you are.

joe don August 5, 2022 - 8:45 PM

Seriously, is this a good thing ?. Back to pre pandemic employment levels !!. Do you know how hard it was to find a job pre pandemic !!. It's still increasing hard to find a job for the average unemployed American !!. There are still millions of struggling unemployed Americans !!.

Gen 0 August 5, 2022 - 9:08 PM

Now everyone blaming Biden for gas prices and the economy are saying he had nothing to do with this 😂😂😂 I love it! Love it man!

Manny M. and Coyote Ridge MTB August 5, 2022 - 9:09 PM

With unemployment rates so low, the lowest since I remember and someone still complaining about Biden’s Job? Probably not doing the greatest job in some areas but the economy is good and that should be more important

Hakeem The place 2 August 5, 2022 - 9:52 PM

Straight up bs they want one person to do the job of four people.

John Zeppelin August 5, 2022 - 9:58 PM

And you can bet your *ss that the economy will not get any better and gas will not go down and inflation will not improve. They're full of it.

Dammit, Biden! Still screwing up the co-… Oh, wait.

pam makwa August 5, 2022 - 10:18 PM

Things are messed-up because the inflation wasn't due to the law of supply and demand. Instead, it was artificially created by corporations in order to pick our pockets.

Purdy Scary August 5, 2022 - 10:23 PM

Republicans will still complain, it's all they do…

Nick Hayden August 5, 2022 - 10:34 PM

350zLeMans August 5, 2022 - 10:35 PM

More propaganda

BigHoss47 August 5, 2022 - 10:37 PM

Lol such a bs number. I had to get 2 jobs now because my wages didn’t keep up with the gas prices and inflation. Which is more than likely what’s really going on with the numbers. All a bunch of makeup on a pile of 💩 economy.

Robbie Ortiz August 5, 2022 - 10:40 PM

Why you all talking so great about 28,000 new jobs when there's monkeypox out now 😆😅🤣 !!!!!

Person Person August 5, 2022 - 10:43 PM

Cost of living is high. Minimum wage needs to be $20 an hour. It's a far cry to make money when the cost of living is high and wages is low. You have professors that are homeless living out of their vehicles because rent is $1.500 to $2,000 Etc.
