I was thinking that there is also a good chance that WE could be the ones uprising against the robots, since we may learn to rely on them to the point where they'd begin managing us. Consider how much we rely on smartphones, remember that with time progressively more of our technological appliances are going to become part of singular devices, and you can imagine how comfortable we would get trusting our fancy everyday and all-doing tech. Now give robots the abilities to act human, reasoning and lying for our sake as they would originally be programmed to do… give them creativity, some robots even creating more robots of their own intuition… give them the ability to recognize and even speculate on right and wrong, as we destroy what they have learned to be essential to the land they tread, and so on… Our treatment would eventually drop from royal to harsh since they would recognize the damages we wish to induce over the world and its beings for the sake of fulfilling our own collective will. With our roles reversed within society and the robots no longer catering to us on our demand but as they see fit, we will wish to take back power. We are to be served cold on a silver platter. Unless we become like them, in which case there are many interesting possibilities, like the new world of interactions between what will probably be considered 'species' by then… I really don't know.

The highest danger advancements in technology possesses is simply the economy.
The robotic arm, for example, put a lot of people out of work.
It never tires. It never needs a break. It never messes up. It only needs electricity to run. It works at a faster pace. They even have welding ones.
With such an expansive population, it's getting tougher and tougher to balance an economy, with jobs disappearing from the market to robotics problems will arise…
If Japan has a say, the next to go may be tellers/ people who work at a cash register.
There's already evidence of this with the self-checkout lines.
When Japan releases their line of customer service droids(real thing btw) a very large percent of the already pitiful workforce will be laid off.

i do not like that they put heads on the robots they should be cubic torso and arms if they need them and if they need legs to move make them weak

Dear People at Dnews

I've always been in favor of technological development and scientific discovery in all areas. I've never subscribed to the theory that intelligent robots must carry with them, malevolence. I have no idea who said this and I know that I'll never be able to do the quote justice, but someone once said, “That the popular idea (mostly brought forth in the more cheaper forms of Science Fiction), that robots must be violent, are usually displaying their own violent tendencies.”.

I do feel that if robotics (if programmed with intelligence), produced any adverse action against humanity, it would be that of ambivalence and of abandonment. If an intelligence gained higher levels than ours, what would be the purpose of subjugation? What could we possibly offer a superior intelligence with our subjugation? Even with our own limited cognitive function, we've came to the realization that cooperation is vastly superior than subjugation. Even now we realize that resources are nothing but abundant in our Universe, so therefore, no reason to compete over them here.

Robots will simply act as programmed. Since that's the case, I'd argue that only unintelligent robots can be violent. If an intelligent robot 'Decides' to be violent to humanity, then there must be a cause. I'm sure that everyone can guess that that cause would be because, we didn't treat them the best and that they are fighting out of a 'Desire' to leave.
