Tasmania will reopen its border to low-COVID-risk states and territories on October 26 | ABC News

Tasmania won’t immediately join the new national travel bubble with New Zealand but hopes to be ready to get direct trans-Tasman flights within a few months.

The Premier gave the green light to most of Australia – bringing down border protections on the 26th of October.

Victoria will be excluded from the border opening and a decision on whether to include New South Wales is still pending.
