Swastikas is an old symbol that predates the Nazis. It is still heavily used in Hindu and Buddhism culture like in India, Japan etc. I don’t know why Americans are so pent up of this non-issue. :/

Everyone says they don't care about other people's religion.
Nobody cares about anybody's religion. everyone thinks so. because nobody cares about my religion or my opinion. For example, there is incredibly interesting information in the Qur'an, the Bible, the Psalms and the Torah.
I am not a Muslim, but there is very impressive information in the Qur'an. There is fascinating information.

You almost have to admire the " subtlety" of the technique
(Sorry, but I think it would slip by a lot of people with just a quick glance)
There seems to be more of this lately around the country
Maybe they are sharing design notes on-line ??

The swastika was never evil its actually an ancient symbol… not meaning anything horrible.. it was the mean man … hitler… that saw this symbol liked the meaning of it because it does mean unity.. and then by doing that hitler gave it that "nazi" stigma ..

Really people?

Trust, they are NOT sorry. They are just embarrassed that they got called out on their white supremacy and racist behavior.

Whoops

But we all acknowledge its NOT a swastika. If you've ever designed a shirt you know it wasn't intentional.

In the design portal enter "unity" and hundreds of these images are available.

This is 2022 – you are not so dumb to not realize that might be even "slightly" offensive. Stop making excuses for people that are supposed to be educated, intelligent and acknowledge diversity. If the students recognized it immediately, so did the staff.

The swastika is a religious symbol, but it has no meaning in Christianor Catholic cultures. The words make it much worst and the swastika isn't being used properly. Context is really leaning it towards facsim more than religion. It should stay within Hindu, Buddhist, and Native Amercian culture where it belongs.

This was definitely made by some Lauren who learned about Swastika on Twitter and thought it would be "brave and stunning" to use it on her school T-shirts. Not understanding this is why people hate appropriation

Shout out to George Floyd on 801 days of sobriety. It took some tough love but he did it. Say his name liberals!
