You know if you spend 600 billion on the space program instead of the military you will gain extra technology from how advanced the space technology is.

I don’t think there’s any better indictment of capitalism than the fact that multiple different billionaires are spending money on space flight when we still have issues of poverty, hunger, and homelessness across the world.

And you still don’t believe in ALLAH rather than believing ALL of this beyond words and imagination of creations exist only in and of itself😔. Yet the WEAKEST of creations: mankind receives recognition and acknowledgement from an incomparably lower level of power such as a Fortune 5000 institution and if one were asked the chain of command and told that the corporation has no hierarchy or CEO CFO shareholders etc it exist in and of itself ie Mother Nature or in latter case “corporate nature “ the person would rightfully so be looked at as an idiot. But yet the highest of creations with phenomenally more advanced designs surpassing human replications has no OWNER OR CREATOR…smh

It was great watching this as history was made and the door has been opened to the start of civilians doing space travel. IT HAS BEGUN! Hope any one of us can get a trip or live long enough to experience it.

Steve Beckley July 12, 2021 - 3:18 AM

As hundreds of people in the north west of US and Canada die from heat from global warming and thousands more in the EU and Asia suffer from flooding this ass thinks it is "cool" that he promotes "space tourism" so that the the .ooo1 of the wealthiest can have "bragging rights" that they found a way to burn more non renewable resources per minutes than ever before. Don't get me wrong I'm a big fan of of exploration be it the depths of the oceans or space. But space tourism? Just goes to show that no amount of education or economic advantage can buy smart.

Aerospace engineer from LC here, while he did technically go to space its really not that impressive. That aircraft for example didn't loiter around and then engage in the maneuver it had to use all the fuel to transfer that energy which means it'll never get serious time in space unless he mans up and decides to build rockets. Additionally, his endeavor didn't require ground support from the navy which provides collision guidance on objects that can potentially collide because it'll never reach low earth orbit.

Richard Branson is the only billionaire I respect and admire. When I used his Virgin Mobile prepaid cell phone service (no contract), they gave me free service grace period when I came under bad times and lost my income. You can't ask for better service than that.

Alek Hidell July 12, 2021 - 3:22 AM

No one should go up. Is a total waste in terms os CO2 and pollution. Richard Branson has a carbon footprint the size of Godzilla.!!! Don’t preach that you are worried about the planet etc if you do the complete opposite.
