Rebekah Vardy has said there was a lot of sexism in coverage of the ‘Wagatha Christie’ libel battle in her first TV interview since losing the case.

Mrs Vardy, the wife of Jamie Vardy, the Leicester City striker, last week lost the court case against Coleen Rooney over a viral social media post that accused her of leaking stories to the press after a High Court judge found Rooney’s post was “substantially true”.
