President Trump departs Walter Reed Medical Center after coronavirus treatment

Donald Trump on Monday night left the Walter Reed hospital and returned to the White House, after three nights being treated at the facility for COVID-19. His treatment will continue at the White House, with a fifth and final dose of the antiviral remdesivir being administered on Tuesday. The president, who remains on a powerful cocktail of drugs including the steroid dexamethasone, said he was feeling ‘better than I did 20 years ago!’ and told the American public” ‘Don’t be afraid of Covid.’ The virus has killed 210,000 of his country’s citizens so far.
