Pig organs have been partially revived an hour after the animals were killed, in a “truly remarkable” breakthrough with the potential to transform medicine, say US researchers.
The technique could increase the number of organs available for transplant and buy doctors more time to save a life if applied to people.
The study also challenges assumptions about what happens in the moments between life and death.

When humanity doesn't know what to do, they revive a pig's organs, there might be war, there might be famine, climate change but doubtlessly crucial is the fight to revive a pig's organs.
I have always said that you're still technically aware well after you die. That's why they let you "Lie In State" for a few days when you're president, because being autopsied hurts so much.
The problem is nobody ever complains because you can't move to tell us about how much it all hurts and is scary.
