Ontario health-care unions propose measures to tackle hospital staffing shortages

Emergency departments in some Ontario hospitals have been forced to close temporarily due to major staffing shortages. Unions representing health-care workers are proposing their own plan and calling on Ontario Premier Doug Ford to act immediately, before the province’s health-care system collapses.
