Hard not to laugh when this is narrated by a dark elf.

Im curious with those bite force meter sticks if the animal sort of shakes it's head with while crunching on the meter resisting the person holding the stick back couldnt this create an artificial reading rather than just and animal biting down with its head still ?

Like in another episode brady measures a bull shark that is about 300-400 lbs and the shark gets a reading of 950+ psi which seemed a bit high to me. And what I noticed was this really high reading came when the shark yank his head hard with the reader in his mouth ? So could this be true ?

T rex with the mass of 4 tones!!! Tremendous weight!!!! With the bite of a shark.. WOW! Bone crushing. And the speed of a breeding turtle.. Actually it can even outrun it!! Kind of a parody on the video commentator. For what else do we love dinosaurs?…

compare T-rex 3.1 tons baby bite against megalodons 18.2 tons, then talk

If they could capture a 15-16 foot alligator I believe their bite would be between 3500 to 4500 psi. They are starting to find bigger and bigger alligators. The trick would be not to kill it though.

9 tons of bite pressure ?!!! Sorry but that jurassic park fight scene was thought on fucking bath salts .

RANDOMPROFILE June 23, 2016 - 3:48 AM

There is no reason why a tyrannosaurus should be similar to an alligator.
This is nonsense.

This is why any fight scene with a t-rex (or comparable dino) that lasts more than a few seconds after a neck bite is utter stupidity. The Jurassic World fight scene with the indomitus makes me laugh every time.

If an alligator bites your femur, it is like you when you bite down on a KitKat bar!

Pesky February 15, 2018 - 5:55 AM

The scary thing is that a Carnotaurus, which had one of the weakest bite forces for a dinosaur of its size, still had a bite twice as powerful as an American alligator. I can only imagine how much destruction those jaws of a T. rex could've caused

Sarcosuchus which is the largest croc ever measuring 40 ft. Had the strongest bite force of any land animals of about 20,000 PSi

The crocs bite never looked that STRONG because of the thin skull. But I know it's strong

There’s a lot more than goes into fighting than just bite force. Although it is a good advantage.

Sam Kiho February 18, 2019 - 11:05 AM

Why didn’t they use a salt water croc which has a bite force of up to 7,000 pounds

This is actually not extremely accurate, due to the fact just scaling up a croc’s bite without actually doing lots of observations on T. rex itself doesn’t really do much.

I feel that if 10 Saltwater crocodiles were to fight a Male Trex, Trex would most likely die from all that power…. If anything the rex would kill maybe Max 5 Crocs… VERDICT: 10 Saltwater Crocodiles would Win Against The Tyrannosaurus Rex….
