Lampard says Chelsea youngsters in first-team on merit, not transfer ban

Chelsea head coach Frank Lampard said that the likes of Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori have been selected in the first-team on merit, and not because of the club’s inability to sign players ahead of the new season due to a transfer ban.
His side face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
