Iran shows off missile systems during annual military exercises

Iran’s military began its annual air defence exercises on Wednesday with a display of ground-to-air missile systems.

Dubbed ‘Modafean Aseman Velayat’ (Defenders of Velayat Skies) the drills were designed to test missile, radar and reconnaissance systems and would involve fighter jets, bombers and drones, especially home-manufactured equipment, the West Asian News Agency (WANA) reported.

On Saturday Iran said it was self-reliant in its defence and had no need to go on a weapons-buying spree as a United Nations conventional arms embargo was about to expire, despite strong U.S. opposition.

Iran is the boogeyman, just like north korea, when in reality their governments are already owned by the powers that be, this is all an act to keep the military industrial complex in business. As Smedley Butler said…"War is a racket"

As an Iranian I feel very proud. I get goosebumps because I know we can defeat the US military… We have plan.. The US fears us now… This is the nightmare of US soldiers.. They don't dare to watch this… As an Iranian, I ask you to show this to US soldiers… You all will be dead my friends… Danger is near you….We in Iran never forget and never forgive you… We are watching you and we will get you soon…
