If you thought food prices were sky-high in your hometown, try living in Canada’s North: the city of Iqaluit is used to seeing food prices two or even three times the national average.
The northernmost city is inaccessible by road from the south and its short growing season means food and supplies often have to be flown in. Costs are also getting worse as inflation afflicts the rest of the country. Now Inuit groups there are banding together to fight food insecurity.

I'm not from Nunavut but it seems like buying groceries is a luxury and people are just expected to hunt if they want to eat.
If i'm the premier of Nunavut, the first thing i would ask from the PM is money to develop the money-making asset of the province and ask other rich provinces to help the province for food security.
Wasn't this bad under Harper.
🇨🇦 Life is ALWAYS more miserable under Liberal governance 😩
