Millions of people could be affected by the worst drought in four decades, in parts of the Horn of Africa.
Aid agencies are warning of a humanitarian disaster, as crops fail and entire villages go hungry.
Leaders are calling for a coordinated regional response, ahead of the UN climate conference in November.
