Guinea: Diallo says he won round one, election body says no

Guinea’s electoral body has dismissed Cellou Dalein Diallo’s claim of victory in the presidential election.
Diallo is the main challenger to incumbent Alpha Conde, who is running for a third term, he accuses the 82-year-old Conde of corruption and mismanaging public funds.
Campaigning has seen the candidates foment ethnic divisions instead of promising to tackle the economic crisis the country is mired in.
