For the first time since the war in Ukraine began, a ship filled with grain has left port. It’s been celebrated in Odesa, while in Moscow, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called it “very positive”. He says it’s a good opportunity to test the effectiveness of the agreement Ukraine and Russia signed in Istanbul last month.
Al Jazeera’s John Hendren reports from the Ukrainian port city of Odesa.

At last grain for the starving Middle East and Africa.
Putin is a very good President that the world has never seen, even allowing Ukraine to export and import food , i can't believe this, during the invasion of Iraq, could Saddam Hussein be allowed to export or import anything, you can clearly see the difference between Satan Bush and Engel Putin
Thanks Turkey (Türkiye) 🇹🇷 Ukraine did nothing to get a deal. Ukraine is extremely poor and corrupt.
IT was not Putin who stopped the shipments of grain from Ukraine ports, it was the Ukraine who mine their own ports thus preventing ships form going back and forth from the Ukraine ports
Make you it is done safely with covid-19 in mind and we might have something good come out of this.
It failed he said sir Russia allowed you to leave if it failed why is the war still going
