“Wild dolphins will greet one another by exchanging names”

“We all know dolphins are intelligent animals. So intelligent, in fact, that a document called the Declaration of Rights for Cetaceans — which argues that dolphins should be afforded similar rights as humans — has actually been gaining some serious traction among scientists and ethicists in recent years.”

Are you kidding me? All insects are animals; there is no separate kingdom of life for smaller animals! Go do some research about animals if you don't believe me.
Seriously, are you trolling or something???

I think there should be animal rights in general.  Given that very few exist now they mostly pertain to only a few years in prison for animal abuse and ethics of science and psychology.

This may sound stupid, but what exactly would be classified as a language or speech, scientifically speaking?

ROB Bohea March 6, 2014 - 8:33 PM

If they're so smart why aren't they campaigning for their own rights? Damn freeloading bastards.

natalie morton April 4, 2014 - 7:16 AM

I wish i could say all animals can have rights but this planet wouldn't be big enough for us if we stopped eating animals. Maybe we should just stick with the smartest animals rights until we can colonize other worlds.

Good information, but would be much more fun without the dorky frat-boy style.
But yes! All dolphins should be protected from being kidnapped from their habitat, especially for entertainment or military purposes!
