David Villalobos death: Mexican man shot by Border Patrol while entering the US

The family of a man with a history of mental illness is seeking answers after he was was shot dead by a U.S. Border Patrol agent during a confrontation after he was caught unlawfully entering the United States last Friday in California. David Villalobos, 30, was seen crossing the Mexico-United States border near the Las Americas Premium Outlets in San Ysidro when he was intercepted by the Border Patrol officer approximately at 5:45pm. The San Diego Police Department announced in a statement that Border Patrol agents attempted to revive Villalobos before paramedics from the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department arrived. Villalobos was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:25pm.
