Cricket to resume next weekend, Boris Johnson announces

The UK will allow club cricket to return next weekend , Boris Johnson announced at a press briefing hours after suggesting play would be unable to resume because of the dangers of the traditional tea in the pavilion.
The prime minister had initially said cricket had different risks from tennis. However, Johnson made a rapid U-turn after consulting with the government’s scientists
