Global News has been taking viewers questions about the COVID-19 pandemic straight to the experts, and lately, a lot of questions have focused on schools and their reopenings.
Students will be heading back to school in just under a month, many for the first time since the pandemic closed classrooms in March.
But is it safe, and do parents have reason to worry? For the answers to those, Jeff Semple spoke with Dr. Michael Gardam, chief of staff at Toronto’s Humber River Hospital and Dr. Craig Jenne from the University of Calgary.
