Concern is growing as COVID-19 cases start climbing in Canada’s Indigenous communities.
Earlier this week, the federal government announced an additional $305 million to help Indigenous Peoples combat COVID-19.
Indigenous Services Minister Marc Miller said the money was meant to help communities prepare for emergencies and prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.
But as Mike Le Couteur reports, trust in the health care system is low after recent examples of systemic racism were revealed in part’s of Canada’s healthcare system.
