Chinese residents rush to grab 'free money falling from the sky'

Footage shows dozens of pedestrians in China eagerly trying to grab the money drifting in the air after the 29-year-old tossed them from 30 storeys up while allegedly high on methamphetamine, according to police. The suspect, known by his surname Ke, has been detained by the authorities over drug abuse. An investigation is ongoing. The scene, described by Chinese media as a ‘heavenly rain of cash from the sky’, was spotted on October 17 in the city of Chongqing, south-western China.
