When in the last forty years has diplomacy EVER worked with the mullah's in Iran. If Biden and the EU leaders take a weak position and lift sanctions, even if Iran complied with the treaty (unlikely), it would give them the resources to once again export international terrorist acts around the world. And Iran is much less likely to fear retaliation for their terrorism from Biden then they did from Trump.

The middle east and ISIS only escalated after iran join nuclear deal from 2015 to 2016, what is the point of signing the deal when Iran wants almost double the amount of money compare to 2015 including retribution, might just as well put tougher sanctions on, there is no point to negotiate a deal that puts israel, arabs alliance at risk for United States. Signing iran nuclear deal is not lowering temperatures with arabs as well as Israel which all are allies of US, signing the deal will only escalate middle east tension which forces US to put troops over and over back in again. Obama 's iran nuclear deal is something that the world has never seen since Jim carter, it represents a deviation of US foreign policy that is not the right direction. When Joe Biden talks about democracy in Myanmar, he needs to set the example iran, unless US can abolish iranian regime into a total democracy, it will be a huge mistakes to sign the iran nuclear deal, the most important thing iran must do is to abolish dictatorship and change the regime back to pre revolution, it must be a regime that fits the ideology of western democracy, or the nuclear deal cannot be signed, period, what Biden needs to do like the democrats of 1960s supporting Shah of iran, and try to bring some type of regime that fits democracy back
