The NSW Premier has again had to take time out from an overseas trade mission to respond to the controversy around John Barilaro at home.

The former deputy premier was captured in an altercation with a news cameraman on Saturday night. Mr Barilaro has defended his actions.
He’s also demanding to appear before a parliamentary inquiry into his appointment to a plum trade role in New York. He has since withdrawn from that job.
