Bless him 💙 Ever so sad this little boy been through so much since April. The 48 page detailed court document is available to read it was made public, truly does give an understanding into how serious his situation is & how there isn’t anything else anyone can do. It wasn’t until I read, that I fully understood myself. Archie has been through a lot little darling deserves to rest peacefully. Truly heart breaking 💙

I think that this situation would have been better served if it where kept private between the parents, the doctors and the courts. It has no place in the mainstream or social media.

I cannot fathom why his parents – who are going through the worst nightmare of any parent – can’t take him to a hospice to allow his family to be with him in peace as he tragically passes. ‘Not in his best interests’ just doesn’t make sense, given his prognosis. Give the family this, at least.

In some respects emergency Medecine has become too good. I would not want to be ‘saved’ to live a life of severe disablement. The worst would be having even a small understanding of my condition.

A judge could have rule without preadjusted, to grant the wishes of his family so they felt comfortable with his last surroundings. This case is cruel and empathy should have been held in the highest regard. I feel deep regret for the family as there wishes were cast away. Are we no longer human? Please respect those alive, dying and dead.

I’ve been hearing about this all week and it’s sad but isn’t there real news to report . Havnt once heard why this happened and I’ve heard some pretty interesting things about the mum…

Matt1991 August 6, 2022 - 4:35 AM

I feel so sorry for his parents and rest of his family, and fully understand why they don’t want to accept the facts and keep trying to keep him “alive” but he is brain stem dead, so in fact is already dead. Just machines are keeping his body artificially “alive” all that was once Archie is already long gone, I can’t imagine the pain they’ve gone through but it’s time to let go and let him rest in peace

Wh i te English are realising not even their own Government care about them or even like them lool

Indrid Cold August 6, 2022 - 4:36 AM

If the poor wee laddie is already brain stem dead then what possible discomfort or anxiety could have been caused to him by being moved to a hospice?

Paul Williams August 6, 2022 - 4:36 AM

Truly aweful , they rule it is not in his best interest to move him to the choice of his families final resting place to let him go , yet the final outcome will more than likely be the same , so the human thing to do would be respect the families wishes and let them choose where they will want to let their son die or at least try to achieve that. Really does prove to me now that the health care system has lost all care and compassion from the people at the top. My Thoughts are with the family let’s hope miracles happen tomorrow morning

Scary how similar this case is to the case of Oliver in Coronation St. Leanne's surname is Battersea in the soap!

Tragic story but the boy can rest now!

Steve W August 6, 2022 - 4:37 AM

What a sad, sad story. Poor Archie and my heart goes out to his family.

It really is a tough one this, as a parent I can understand the family fighting and them grasping on to hope, but I can also see why the medical world has its' own view in regards to prolonging treatment.

A very sad situation.

Why is there a gavel at 0:48, when English courts don't use gravels?

Thats shocking and must go against the code of a medical doctor they have taking the lazy way out this is disgusting my thoughts with the family hope your faith is strong 🙏

Bright Future August 6, 2022 - 4:42 AM

What really cracks me is if that was an asian or black boy, they wouldn't have mentioned it even once in the news. But when i turn on news all i hear is about this white boy who should finally be put to rest.

Danny Richardson August 6, 2022 - 4:43 AM

Unbelievable tragedy, but I believe the correct decision has been made.

ArchyBalls August 6, 2022 - 4:43 AM

About time Archie deserves to finally rest in peace and go2 heaven 🙏

Conan Lucas August 6, 2022 - 4:46 AM

Not in his Interest to move him. They're killing the poor boy anyway so what does it matter if he's moved, these courts are inhuman cold and horrible. The world is a very cruel and cold place it makes me Extremely sad.

TheToneTosser August 6, 2022 - 4:47 AM

Very sad story. Every mother and father will be aching with sorrow today.

Nasrin Hrynacz August 6, 2022 - 4:47 AM

Wouldn't be surprised if the mother sells tickets to the funeral. Read on these comments that she has booked a holiday to Thailand in September. Nice to see the gofund me has gone to a good cause. Archie was an innocent pawn in all of this bless him. Shame he didn't hear his cries for help.
