Amnesia: How the Brain Forgets

by Moin Uddin Ahmed Tipu

Amnesia is best known for its use as a plot twist in soap operas, but it’s a real disorder! I NEVER had magnesia. In fact, I have a perfect memory. I don't remember anything I may have forgotten about; so, I must have a perfect memory. In fact…. what was this video about again? Oh yes… Most people who display magnesia are actually experiencing the D.A. syndrome A.K.A. Dumbassia.

That sounds like bs. Sounds like some guy who was obsessed with Sweden decided he would forget where he was born to be declared "Swedish" lol

I had amnesia years ago, when I fell off a bike and hit my head on the curb. My friend was there and she followed me home. When I got home, I was so mad, because I thought my friend wouldnt let me go home (I thought I was at her dads) Then at one point my dad asks me, what my name is, and I was thinking he must be the biggest idiot on the planet Earth asking a retarded question like that – until I started thinking about my name… I coulndt remember it, and I coulndt remember anyones names or where I actually was and who the people I was talking to was. Funny thing is, I was looking around in my room (not knowing it was my room) and thinking this was the worst taste ever.

how much head trauma does it take to get amnesia? because I fainted twice under five minutes both times waking up on the tile floor I may or not have hit my head on the sink, toilet, or doorframe I cant remember that Just severe pain on the sides of my head as well as having knocked down a small cabinet in the opposite direction I fell in and waking up between the crevice of the wall and toilet I'm not sure if that was enough it happened in the summer and I cant remember much of the months before that happened And I went to the doctor an your or so after but they didn't ask about my memory

I had amnesia back in 2015 after i graduated from high school they say i got an accident in my way home after a party i can't remember anything from my past i got hospitalised for 2 months getting therapy but it didn't work. I can't even see my parents as my family they're a couple strangers for me, when the doctor told my parents that i can't recover to my former self my family sent me to another country to live with my grandpa and grandma but i have started to live alone and go to college but sometimes in dreams or when i'm walking at a park i could get a glimpse of my past but i still couldn't remember i just hope i could remember what i was back then but if i do remember the past of my life will i disappear or will i still stay the same as i am now i keep questioning myself about this.

There are a bunch of loss of memory treatment plans that actually make you think and work out your brain. I`m tremendously in favor of this “shocking cuno press” (Google it) loss of memory treatment method tips. In a week after, I`ve seen the development enabling me to concentrate longer..

Frances Larsen November 3, 2018 - 9:53 AM

I didn't really find what I was looking for on this video, unfortunately… I have pockets of places where I can't fill in the blanks. It was from someone who put me in sexual situations when I was too young. I only have little flashes of certain parts, and for some reason I feel obsessed sometimes wanting to fill out the whole picture, as it is weird knowing I was in many situations where I really "wasn't there," but another altered part of me instead, helping me to cope.

I want to forget everything and restart a new life… I just hate how I always think about negative things, about the past! I wanna be a joyous person, who's always positive, smiling like everything is a wondeful thing! Thing is, I don't know what will happen if I did have amnesia… I could be a massive b—- ya know?
