Almost 7 in 10 footballers abused on Twitter

by News Update

An analysis of almost two million tweets by Ofcom has revealed that almost 68% of footballers were abused at least once on Twitter during the first five months of the 2021/2022 season.

Of these tweets, 1 in 12 targeted a player’s race or gender.

The social media giant says it is committed to combating abuse and knows there is still work to be done.

There does need to be release of the hate and the despair to reduce the anger in society as most folks are treated like POS by the elite. Ball Kickers are ideal for this purpose. Better a Tweet on Twatter against a ball kicker than an actual punch in the face of someone else.

Listen, Man United might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table. Let him sign it, let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there, given what he's done since he's come in. Ole's at the wheel, man. He's doing it. He's doing his thing. MAN UNITED ARE BACK!!!

Footballers are not Angels and they surely abuse others too. They think they can do what ever they want only because they have millions. We've seen it with tax fraud from messi and cr7. Or the Payment from cr7 to an American woman that he allegedly raped/abused

It’s time that people take this more seriously. People getting abused online isn’t something to make a joke out of. People who send those messages are stupid low life’s who have nothing better to do. Long way to go.
