You only mentioned 3… one of which was relatively small. Why is this called "4 Biggest Asteroid Strikes Ever"??

You forgot to mention the 3rd possibility of the Tunguskah ( sorry if I don't spell this right ) scenerio: That it was a test of Nikoli Tesla's death ray.

Onze Junkmail November 28, 2013 - 8:06 PM

The meteorite did not strike earth. It exploded before it hit earth.

Why the name of 'Dutch oven'

If anything that kind of 'attack' is more German in nature than Dutch.

Mick Taylor March 20, 2014 - 8:29 AM

And remember that even though the dinosaurs became extinct insects survived. Ants for example are 120 million (or so) years old.

Illuminati10101 March 31, 2014 - 12:14 AM

He keeps calling the Russian meteors "Impacts" neither meteors were impacts as they exploded in the Atmosphere.
And I do not believe the meteor 65,000,000 years ago caused an ice age,  Nuclear winter yes Ice Age no.

Illuminati10101 March 31, 2014 - 12:24 AM

The differences between Asteroids,Meteors and Meteorites. They are all basically the same thing with these differences.
An Asteroid is still out in space once it hits the Earths Atmosphere it is called a Meteor. The meteor breaks up into smaller pieces, some of them survive and land on the ground, they are now called Meteorites.
A comet is different from an Asteroid. An Asteroid is made up of Rock iron, nickel and other metals, a comet is made up of Ice and lose rock ( a dirty snowball).
A comet travels MUCH faster than an Asteroid 40,000mph or faster and can do much more damage to earth due to its speed.

The "Top 4 Biggest" is actually missing the 2 biggest ones, the Sudbury and Vredefort. Both are massively larger than the Chixulub.

TehMelonHead May 16, 2014 - 4:54 AM

Tunguska was because of Nikolai Tesla and his laser death beam of mass destruction!!! : )

SleazyRoseWalker May 26, 2014 - 5:02 PM

joseph lake May 30, 2014 - 2:24 AM

the russion Siberian explosion there are many theory but, most likely was a commit or asteroid.  Some people said it was a ufo.

onyx1186 June 8, 2014 - 12:03 PM

sup…. without impact events we would not be here as a species, arguably so yay impact events. also they provided water and organic materials to our planet, and potentially, as well as micro organisms.. so sweet stuff, bad thing is we can be ended by such events if they are big enough so we should invest in being able to deflect or minimize the damage to our planet

actually, about 4 billion years ago, the largest asteroid collided with earth. this thing was the size of mars and it also created the moon. a 6 mile rock is nothing compared to the 3000 mile wide planetoid object that earth endured and survived through.

drknakkie December 26, 2014 - 7:35 AM

2:11 It was Nikola Tesla ;)

Billa Great January 17, 2015 - 8:01 PM

All you impacts together are still smaller than the biggest impact on earth 3000mi wide, right over Thailand and China

Leyvada February 2, 2015 - 12:35 AM

I like Trace in this video more than i do now, Today he seems like an histerical guy who just scaped from a mental institution, the way he expresses today stresses me I mean calm down dude…

Latios February 3, 2015 - 6:29 PM

The Russian one is a comet not asteroid

Miguelatoo Pereira February 8, 2015 - 9:36 PM

Maybe the tungundka event was made by a cloud if antimatter that collided with earth. I see this as very plausible

David Dagnino April 7, 2015 - 10:27 PM

Or the impact that sent a giant chunk of the Earth to space, now called the Moon.

Joe April 28, 2015 - 1:32 AM

has anybody ever speculated that it was Superman who stopped the meteor in Tunguska? He probably also stopped that meteor that recently blew up in Russia as well, just a few years ago… come to think of it, he seems to be saving Russia a lot… Oh wait, does that mean… he is actually Red Son?!? Damn you Russia, you stole the most iconic superhero for real!!!

Giant Bearded Face May 31, 2015 - 10:49 AM

you sound sad
but tis is a good vid

Baddie Maddie October 14, 2015 - 1:38 AM

How did the dinosaurs actually go extinct? I've heard tons of theories from the asteroid to a sickness to even a sickness caused by the asteroid! Which to believe are these theories even plausible??

idk7173 October 19, 2015 - 2:48 PM

Davicito April 28, 2017 - 7:17 AM

I don't believe these so called millions of years old, the Earth can't be that old.

Gilson Oliveira tobas March 2, 2018 - 9:49 PM

Nao! Se nem forca do tempo.

Hastin Nuraini June 1, 2018 - 7:26 AM
